Controller not working after Patch 1.10

Recently installed Patch 1.10 and loaded up the game in OFFLINE mode as usual, the following message pops up (SEE ATTACHMENT). And now my controller is not working at all (a wired xbox360 controller).
Any ideas why this is a problem? -

What was the problem? Also mine controller doesn't work (wireless xbox 36'0 controller)
